Andrew, a founding member and Managing Partner of the firm, serves as the firm’s Director of Non-Contentious and Transactional Business. With over 20 years of extensive legal practice, he holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from Salford University, UK and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Malawi. His expertise is in diverse practice areas such as corporate & commercial, banking & finance, capital markets, land transactions, employment, and insurance.
Andrew regularly advises and acts for clients in the banking and financial sectors and is intimately familiar with the depth and breadth of financial services regulation, and capital markets and their regulation. He has extensively advised and acted for clients in telecommunications, transport and logistics, insurance, manufacturing, health care, project development, agriculture (including specialised sectors such as tea, sugar and tobacco), real estate, international NGOs, energy, mining and oil industries. Andrew is dedicated to delivering strategic legal solutions that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Frank, a founding member of our firm, serves as the Director of Litigation and Dispute Resolution at Dowell & Jones. With over 17 years of experience, he holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Malawi and an MBA. Frank specializes in corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, employment, insurance, and private criminal prosecutions.
He has advised clients across diverse sectors including banking, telecommunications, transport, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, employment, agriculture, international NGOs, and mining. Frank’s expertise extends to handling private criminal prosecutions for corporate clients, reflecting his comprehensive approach to legal advocacy and dispute resolution.
